SPANISH STEPS

Piazza di Spagna or the Spanish Steps are so called because the Spanish Embassy is located here.

From the Hotel Nova Domus you can reach the Steps by taking Metro Line A from Cipro to Piazza di Spagna which is only 5 stops away and reachable from the Hotel Nova Domus in 15 minutes.

The steps lead from Bernini's fountain - ingeniously sunk below ground level - up to the Trinita'Dei Monti.

In Spring and Autumn fashion shows which involve the worlds leading super models are held here as Rome's most famous shopping street the Via dei Condotti is only a few minutes walk away...
